“Needless to say, I had the last laugh…”

Posted by Simon Harper on October 9, 2008

The past week or so has seen a lot of activity with Birmingham Comedy Festival 2008, and so I’ve been at a few shows including those by David O’Doherty, Ivan Brackenbury and Mark Steel, plus I’m off to see Richard Herring tonight. It’s a good time to be launching a new venture as well, which is more or less a sister site to Cul-de-Sac – called Who’s Laughing Now?, it’s a blog which is hoping to stimulate community around live comedy in Birmingham and beyond, although we’re also going to be looking at other media too and not just the stage.

It’s a website which has been developed in conjunction with Rich Batsford, and we’re looking for other people who want to take part in what we think is a really exciting project. So if you’re interested in contributing reviews, or want to find out more, then drop me a line.
